that flows from Silverton
down-stream through Durango
Colorado. AVA offers wade
and float-fishing trips
on over 70 miles of the Animas River. Click the links for more info! |

Low flows are expected over the next couple weeks. Current flow is 250 CFS with very good spring fly fishing. Solid hatches of blue wing olives and midges. Great
time to float fish
or wade
this
bucket-list fishery.
AVA offers year-round float
and
wade
trips on all three sections
of the San Juan located
below Navajo Dam. Click for more info! |

The
Rio Grande is fishing well with our dry season right around the corner. AVA offers miles
and miles of float fishing near
Creede and down-stream
through South Fork Colorado. AVA also offers wade trips on the head-waters. The Rio is a must fish for the dry-fly fanatic. Shhhh the streamer, popper and nymph fishing is good too. Click for more info. |

The Pine River is up and fishing pretty well. Midges, BWOs and some caddis are showing up. The Pine offers a solid chance at a trout over 10-pounds! Yep, 10 plus pounds! The
Dolores
is
currently
a low 18 CFS
as
it flows
out
from
McPhee
Reservoir.
This
wild
canyon
is
full
of
deer,
bears,
rattlesnakes,
mountain
lions,
tall
pines
and
a small
handful
of
technical
trout.
This
stream
will
test
the
skills
of
the
most
ardent
angler.
The upper
Dolores River is flowing low and clear with poor fishing. Spring will welcome better fishing for sure. |
