Spring
Fly Fishing Newsletter!
Greetings from Southwest
Colorado! Although its still "winter" according
to the
calendar, the sun is shining, the bugs are hatching
and the trout are
feeding. Its been a great winter here in Durango
with plenty of snow mixed
in with just enough sunshine which should make for
good flows and a great
start to the 2009 season. Having said that, we figured
now would be a good
time to share some fishing news, crew updates and
spread some fishing cheer
in the midst of the not-so uplifting news that seems
to be dominating the
headlines of late. So take a look, enjoy the new
photos, and take some time
to surf the new web site. New for 2009 we
are offering SPRING SPECIALS on all our guide trips;
our way of saying thanks for all
the support
over the years! As always feel free to drop us a
line to say hello.
Cheers,
Will,
Chris, Ralph, Tim, Josh,
Rick, Matt, Jess, Chip and Marc |

Fly Fishing Report
The
Animas, our home river continues
to be a great late winter fishery as the feisty trout seem to enjoy
the warming temps and continue to feed through the Durango waters
and
south
to
some
of
of
our
favorite private stretches.
